- Use PETI, the Official Gazette and the publishing authority
Dataset scale does not remove the need to check identity, publication date and the original Korean record for consequential use.
Provide a reproducible report
Include the person name, organization or position, disclosure date, PWRMAP URL, source URL or document, and a concise description of the mismatch.
For a map issue, include the original address wording and whether the marker is labeled as exact or approximate. Do not send a private address that is absent from the source.
Corrections follow verified sources
PWRMAP can correct processing, display and geocoding errors. It cannot rewrite an official disclosure solely because a third party supplies a different value.
When the publishing authority issues a correction, the normalized data and related summaries are reviewed in the next verified update.
Sources and calculation basis
This guide is based on the sources below. When an official correction or update is confirmed, PWRMAP reviews the affected display and analysis.
- Public Ethics Information System (PETI)The official system for public-service ethics and asset-disclosure information.
- Official Gazette of the Republic of KoreaThe official publication context, attachments and correction notices.
